Ayar Jungle Resort

Ayar Jungle resort is situated in a very serene part of the town. It’s away from the hustle bustle and crowded lanes of Mall Road. The food and service is amazing. I highly recommend the breakfast… it’s sumptuous!! Also, there are some adventure activities to indulge in which I didn’t go for but I saw some guests enjoying that as well! All in all, the service, food, rooms are fabulous. 10 on 10 for this resort!!!!

1. This Property and Rooms are certainly overrated, though the surroundings are calm there are few people yelling to spoil your peace ! 2. Exorbitantly priced rooms which are in a pathetic state: a. Really bad lighting b. Poor heating arrangements - the heater would go off multiple times in between the night c.No dedicated charging points for phones ? d. Housekeeping doesn't know what needs to be cleaned and replaced and had to call each time e. The roof is useless it collects dew on it and the cold water so collected drops right on your body and also on the floor which is never mopped by staff (washroom and bathroom) 3. Gala night for which 5k per person was compulsory was pathetic, we have never seen such an ill-organised party ! a. To start with the live singer - really offbeat singing for 31st and 1st nights b. Food was mediocre too c. Dancing space was negligible - also over taken by some loud and boisterous Punjabis (have enough space for all) d. The speakers were improper and DJ couldn't understand what songs were to be played ? Please download party songs from YouTube that may help for your next event 4. The place functions on the instructions of the people who know the owners? That's really low and unfair to others 5. The only thing good that we found was the staff helping with our Breakfast and Dinner. The guy with the flute was amazing Wouldn't recommend this place at all ! Absolute waste of money and time as 100% increase in rates for the last week of December in comparison to other days. Despite such prices this place had zero facility for Pickup and Drop from the city centre which was being provided by various other resorts/stays

We stayed for a day at the luxury tent . The tent was indeed beautiful , courteous staff and delicious food but NOT IDEAL FOR STAY IN PEAK WINTER. We had planned to stay for 2 days but it was extremely cold , the heaters are useless and so are the bed warmers . For the kind of temperature there u need really good heaters in winter . The linen , bed everything is wet becoz of the weather . We had to vacate in just 1 night .

This resort is a dense jungle.... with cottages and tree houses spread throughout the property.... it's about 3 kms ftom the lake with no lake views, but the jungle theme more than makes up for this! The food at their restaurant is top-notch - we had Chinese on day 1, wood fired oven pizzas on day 2, and Indian on day 3, and all of it was wholesome, fresh and delicious! The staff is attentive and responsive... and does go the extra mile to try and meet all their guest's demands... A memorable stay... we'll be back soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this resort and opted for a premium room. It was a unique experience being surrounded by the dense forest, and it was our first time staying in such a captivating setting. One of the highlights of our stay was the live music during dinner time. The musician had an exceptionally good voice and sang beautiful romantic songs, which added to the delightful ambiance. The food both breakfast and dinner, was delicious. However, I do have one suggestion for the hotel. It would be more convenient if dinner was served in a buffet style rather than being served at the table. This would allow guests to take only what they need and reduce food wastage. We often found ourselves ordering more than necessary and a buffet setup would mitigate this issue. Regarding the room, the size of the premium room was small and not ideal for accommodating three elderly individuals comfortably. However, the bed was cozy and equipped with a comfortable warmer. The room and bathroom were clean and there were a variety of different toiletries provided. The resort offered activities such as sky cycling and zip-lining, but I found the prices to be quite high. While these activities may be enjoyable for children, the distance covered is too short for elders to fully experience the adrenaline rush before it's over. Additionally, it's worth noting that the resort is located uphill, making it challenging to walk to and from the resort. Hiring a cab is necessary, and it can cost around 400/- for a one-way trip from the mall road to the resort. The mall road itself is downhill, so transportation is required for both directions. Overall, I had a good stay at this resort and would recommend it to others.

It's thrilling. Chill in & out.Located in isolation, spread long & wide really in jungle. Rooms can be categorized as Tent,Machan & premium. All are good but suitable to your choice & age. Restaurant here is very nice. Breakfast class 1. Staff very prompt. Himanshuji is really a very nice person& is able to resolve any issue, though I haven't seen him but he extended a great help to us. Lots of thanks to him.
